Universally Useful

A dual monitor docking station should, above all else, provide support for two external monitors. By leveraging DisplayLink, and adding a cord that works with USB-A laptops and USB-C laptops, the UD-3900C adapts to you. This is especially helpful in hot desking and hotelling environments, or when your computer doesn’t natively support dual displays–like an M1, M2, or M3 Mac. Please note, you will need to install a DisplayLink driver for full functionality.

For the individual user or the hybrid office with only a handful of hot desks, setting up and getting to work is a straightforward, intuitive process. But for the IT staff that needs to convert an entire enterprise over to hot desks, the UD-3900C has a complete set of Display Layout Provisioning tools for Windows specifically designed for hot desking and hoteling environments (Mac not supported).

Compatibility

Compatible with most modern laptops and desktops running Windows 11 / 10 / 8.x / 7, ChromeOS 100+ and macOS 10.14+. Not compatible with: macOS 10.13.x and earlier, Linux / Unix. DisplayLink is a flexible and versatile technology that’s great for most users’ workflow. But there are a few scenarios where it’s not the right fit such as gaming and HDCP (copy-protected) content playback from Blu-ray/Netflix/Prime/iTunes/Hulu/etc. This dock does not provide power to the connected laptop—the laptop will still require a separate charger.
